Megan Mahany, Matthew Gambrel set wedding date

St. Mary’s Cathedral in Lansing, Mich., will be the setting at 1 p.m. Aug. 29 as Megan Elizabeth Mahany and Matthew Hammond Gambrel are united in marriage, their parents announce.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. Brian and Jan Mahany of Williamston, Mich., and the prospective groom is the son of Bill and Amy Gambrel of Boardman.

Invitations will be extended for the couple’s wedding and for a reception later that afternoon at the Sheraton Hotel in Lansing.

Miss Mahany and Mr. Gambrel both earned juris doctor degrees from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

She also earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from John Carroll University in Cleveland and is an attorney for Reliability First in Akron.

Mr. Gambrel also earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Ohio University in Athens. He is a self-employed attorney in Youngstown.
