Jillian Burgess, Patrick Hall are engaged

VERSAILLES, KY. — Dr. Ronald and Sheila Burgess, 1336 Fords Mill Road, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jillian Leigh Burgess, of the same address, and Patrick Thomas More Hall, 635 St. Charles St., Baton Rouge, La.

James and Marilyn Hall, 1004 Shoveler Court, North Lima, are parents of the future groom.

Miss Burgess graduated from Sewanee: University of the South, in Sewanee, Tenn., with a bachelor’s degree, and from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa., with a master’s degree.

Mr. Hall earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s in journalism from Ohio University at Athens, and graduated from the University of New Orleans with a master’s degree in political science.

The couple are pursuing juris doctorates at Louisiana State University Paul M. Herbert Law Center, in Baton Rouge, La.

Invitations will be extended for the wedding the couple have planned for 4:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at St. Peter Church, and for their reception that evening at Headley Whitney Museum, both in Lexington, Ky.
