May wedding set by Kara Sheeler and Jason Calvert

MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. — The engagement of Kara Sheeler and Jason Calvert, both of 5096 Stoddard Hayes Road, Farmdale, is announced by her parents, Scott and Debby Matthews of Merritt Island. The future groom is a son of Larry and Susan Calvert, 5023 Pierce Road, Warren.

The bride-elect graduated with an associate degree from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio St. Elizabeth Campus, Youngstown. She is a registered nurse with St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

The prospective groom is an engineer with V&M Star Steel in Youngstown. He graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in science and technology and an associate in mechanical engineering.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding the couple have planned for May 30 and for their reception at Garden Brook Banquet Center in Cortland.
