Greenford Ruritan Club hears genealogical talk

GREENFORD — Greenford Ruritan Club had its monthly meeting March 23. President Bill Pitts presided, and Green Township Ladies Auxiliary served the dinner.

Denise Brindle, a representative from the American Red Cross, discussed the upcoming blood drive that the Greenford Ruritan Club sponsors. It will take place from 2-7 p.m. Monday at Greenford Christian Church.

Carol Check, secretary for the Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, was the speaker for the evening, and she gave a presentation on researching family history.

The next meeting of the Ruritan Club will be April 27 at Greenford Lutheran Church.
