NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Wallace Memorial Chapel at Westminster College was the setting at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 21 for the wedding of Victoria Lynn Banic, 808 Marmion Ave., Youngstown, and Roger Dominick Ferrante, 4390 Devonshire Drive, Boardman.

The Revs. Rob and Mickey Cypher officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Denny and Bonnie Banic, 10 Wilbur St., Greenville, Pa., and Bev Grandy, Springhill, Fla., and the son of Roger and Dolores Ferrante, 111 Edgewood Ave., New Castle, Pa.

After a reception at The Riverplex in New Castle, the couple left for a honeymoon in Rome, Italy. Upon return, they live at the Boardman address.

The bride wore a halter style taffeta gown enhanced with beading and lace and featuring a draped bodice and chapel train.

Black gowns with gold accents were worn by the honor attendant, Sharon Luman, and the junior bridesmaid, Elizabeth Ferrante, the groom’s daughter.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Doug Ferrante, and the groom’s son, Andrew Ferrante, was groomsman and usher.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in business and social studies. She served with the U.S. Army and is the owner of The Detail Doctor in Boardman.

The groom, a senior business adviser with International Profit Associates of Chicago, graduated from Westminster College with a degree in business and from Point Park University in Pittsburgh with a degree in finance.
