KEY LARGO, Fla. — Summer Rose Davis and David Peter Nichols were united in marriage on March 7 during a ceremony that took place oceanside at Key Largo.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Davis of Cudjoe Key, Fla., and Kingston, N.Y., and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Nichols of Girard.

Serving as maid of honor for her sister was Amber Rose Davis of Key West, Fla., and performing the duties of best man was the groom’s brother, Jim Nichols of Cortland.

The couple left on a honeymoon cruise to Mexico and Belize, and upon return live in Jacksonville, Fla.

The bride received her bachelor’s and her master’s degrees in English from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla., and her juris doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville. She is an attorney with the law offices of John C. Kenny in Florida.

The groom is a civil engineer with CSX Railroads. He earned a degree in civil and environmental engineering from Youngstown State University.

Mr. and Mrs. Nichols will be honored during a celebration of marriage this summer in Kingston.
