HUBBARD — Joyce Burns, 578 Wendemere Drive, is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Mollie Burns, of the same address, and Joseph Parisi, 1121 11th Drive NW, New Philadelphia, a son of Joseph and Rosemarie Parisi, 1091 Park Ave., Girard.

Miss Burns, also the daughter of the late Frederick Burns, is an intervention specialist with Beaver Local School District in Rogers. She graduated cum laude from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa., with a double major in elementary and special education, and from Youngstown State University summa cum laude with a master’s in educational administration.

Mr. Parisi earned a degree in civil engineering from YSU, graduating cum laude, and is a transportation engineer with the Ohio Department of Transportation in New Philadelphia.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 1:30 p.m. open ceremony July 11 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at The Radisson Hotel in West Middlesex, Pa.
