Date is chosen for Bess-Milne summer wedding

FALLSTON, N.C. — Thomas and Karen Bess of Fallston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Angela Paige Bess of Shelby, N.C., and Dennis Michael Milne of Boiling Springs, N.C., a son of Robert and Linda Milne of Austintown.

The couple have planned a 5 p.m. wedding for June 27 at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church in Vale, N.C.

The bride-elect graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in music education from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., where she also received her national board certification and her master’s of music education degree. She is the band director at Crest High School in Shelby.

The prospective groom earned his bachelor of science degree in secondary education at Youngstown State University. He is a teacher at Crest High School and is pursuing his national board certification and a master’s degree in history at ECU.
