Croysdale-Newton engagement told, wedding planned

AUSTINTOWN — The engagement of Kristy Croysdale and Kevin Newton, both of 7826-A Davinci Lane, Charlotte, N.C., is announced by the parents of the bride-elect, Ken and Patty Croysdale, 5639 Tarrytown Lane.

The future groom is a son of Dennis and Eileen Newton, 11932 Rock Canyon Drive, Charlotte.

Miss Croysdale graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is a kindergarten teacher with Gaston County Schools in Gastonia, N.C.

Mr. Newton is an account manager with Equifirst Corp. in Charlotte. He earned an associate degree in business administration from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte.

The couple have chosen June 27 for their 1:30 p.m. wedding at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception later that day at The Georgetown in Boardman.
