WEDNESDAY

• Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will serve a Lenten breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. A freewill offering will be accepted.

THURSDAY

• Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman Poland Road, Poland, will have take-out dinners available from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out) the first Thursday of each month. The cost is $6. No need to preorder or get out of the car. Just drive to the front of the church and your meal of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans will be ready.

FRIDAY

• American Legion Post 290, state Route 14, Columbiana, will have an all-you-can eat fish fry from 4 to 7, cost $9 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Takeouts available. For more information call (330) 482-9657.

• American Legion Post 560, 103 Twelfth St., Campbell, will sponsor a fish and shrimp fry from noon to 6 p.m. at the post home. Meals are $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. • Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 :30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers. This is the last sale before Easter. Sales will resume April 17.

• Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. • Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders will be taken from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. This is the last sale before Easter.

• Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 4470 Norquest Blvd, Austintown, will serve Lenten fish dinners catered by Rachel’s. The dinners are hosted by IHM Home & School from 4-7 p.m. The cost is $8.95 per dinner. A children’s menu is available for $4.95 per dinner. Takeouts are available.

• Mineral Ridge Fire Association will sponsor a fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mineral Ridge Fire Station, 3588 Main Street (state Route 46). The cost is $8 per person. Carryout is available.

• Potato and cheese pirogi will be sold Friday at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. To order, call (330) 799-0084 after 6 p.m. Thursday or after 8 a.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $5 per bag of one dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance. • St. Brendan Church will sponsor a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at Maxwell Hall, 144 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown. Meals are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. • St. Christine Church, 3165 S. Schenley Ave., will be serving Lenten fish dinners from 4-8 p.m. Dinners are catered by the Fifth Season and cost $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. • Potato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Cost is $4.50 a dozen. This is the last sale before Easter. Sales will resume April 24.

• Fish dinners will be served at St. Lucy Church, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the social center. Tickets are $9 for adults, $8.50 for senior citizens, and $4,50 for children under 12. Takeout orders (adult size only) will be $9 each. Three takeout dinners will be offered as a special for $25.

• St. Maron Church will serve fish dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. at Antioch Hall, 1555 S. Meridian Road. Cost is $8 and takeouts will be available.

• St. Nicholas School’s Mom’s & Dad’s Club, Fifth Street, Struthers, will have a takeout fish lunch special from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $6. Phone orders welcome at (330) 755-5859. • St. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The final sales for Easter will be April 3. There will be no sales on Good Friday, and regular sales will resume April 24.

• St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Pickup will be by 1 p.m. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance. There will be no hot lunches, only takeout. This is the last sale until they resume April 24. • Beaver Township Ruritan Club will sponsor a fish fry from 3 to 7 p.m. at South Range High School, 11836 South Ave., North Lima. Carryouts will be available from 2:30 to 7. The donation is $8 for adults, $4 for children under 12 and free for those under 5. Tickets at the door or from club member.

• St. John’s Orthodox Church will have a Russian Easterfest from noon to 4 p.m. at St. Joseph the Provider Hall, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Sponsored by the Campbell “O” Club, Featured will be ethnic foods. Also for sale will be Easter gift items, homemade candy, spring crafts, and pysanky eggs. The menu includes silver dollar pancakes, scrambled eggs, Cindy’s famous strata, Amish bacon, hash browns, assorted Danish, fresh fruit cup, juice and beverages. • Girard City Survivors Relay for Life Team is taking orders for Molnar’s sweets. Full-size pumpkin rolls are $10, and a half roll is $6; cinnamon rolls are $3, or a six pack of petites for $7.50; nut, apricot and poppyseed kolachi are $10 each; pecan topping is 75 cents and vanilla and maple frostings are 25 cents. Pickup will be 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and April 11 at 75 S. Turner Road, Austintown.

• St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell, is selling homemade haluski on Fridays during Lent.
