Pennsylvania is getting $2.7 billion in new federal aid for education. Allocations were updated Tuesday but could change again, the state Department of Education has warned schools superintendents. The state is trying to balance its budget in the face of a $1.3 billion deficit.

Lawrence County

Ellwood City: $1.5 million.

Laurel: $673,965.

Mohawk: $1.1 million.

Neshannock: $479,499.

New Castle: $5.1 million

Shenango: $839,859.

Union: $670,667.

Wilmington: $1.4 million.

Mercer County

Commodore Perry: $566,370.

Farrell: $1.4 million.

Greenville: $1.4 million.

Grove City: $2.1 million.

Hermitage: $1.2 million.

Jamestown: $467,674.

Lakeview: $1.1 million.

Mercer: $1,033,065.

Reynolds: $1.1 million.

Sharon: $3.2 million.

Sharpsville: $881,501.

West Middlesex: $907,137.
