Zethus Software receives investment from fund
YOUNGSTOWN — For the second time since November, a company connected with the Youngstown Business Incubator has received a $100,000 investment from the Alliance Innovation Fund.
Zethus Software will receive the investment, which will be matched by an additional $100,000 from an outside investor, the incubator said. The money will be used to carry the company as it embarks on further tests of its archiving software product and begins to install it with customers in the second quarter of this year.
The Alliance Innovation Fund is a partnership of Lorain County Community College, the University of Akron Research Foundation, and GLIDE, an incubator in Elyria. Eris Medical Technologies also has received funds from the alliance.
Cavalier credit union, Associated School merge

Associated School has more than $70 million in assets and more than 8,500 members. Cavalier had $20 million in assets and primarily served employees of the General Motor Lordstown complex and the communities of Lordstown and Newton Falls.
Associated School said it will retain all of Cavalier’s employees and its two Trumbull County branches. The accounts of Cavalier members will become Associated School accounts.
East Ohio gas customers to get new supplier
CLEVELAND — Dominion East Ohio customers who previously bought natural gas from the company will be assigned to a supplier under a Standard Choice Offer that includes a price of $5.03 per thousand cubic feet. That is a decrease of $1.36, or 21 percent, from the March Standard Service Offer.
East Ohio said the continuing recession-driven reduction in industrial demand has resulted in lower national market prices for natural gas.
