Early dismissal Friday for Youngstown city schools

YOUNGSTOWN — In accordance with the contract agreement between the Youngstown Board of Education and the Youngstown Education Association, the board provides for early dismissal one day each grading period during the school year for teacher record keeping and planning purposes.

Friday has been designated for early dismissal for the third grading period. Students will be dismissed Friday as follows: Chaney, East and Choffin, 1:30 p.m.; Alpha School of Excellence, Hayes, P. Ross Berry and Volney Rogers Jr. High, 12:45 p.m.; and all elementary schools at 2 p.m.
