March 19

False prescription: A woman attempted to fill a prescription at Buckeye Pharmacy, 12 N. Broad St., which appeared to be a bad prescription because the date of birth written on the prescription was different from her actual date on the script. The pharmacy called her physician’s office, which reported that the script was bad, but further investigation later confirmed the prescription was good and that an error had been made when the woman’s date of birth was written on the prescription.

Theft: A man from the 300 block of Lisbon Street reported that two “Air Force 1” pairs of shoes were missing from his residence.

March 23

Shoplifting: A woman placed $95.03 worth of merchandise in her shopping cart at Giant Eagle and passed up the checkouts and headed to the door. She was charged with theft.

Fraudulent charges: A woman from a home in the 3000 block of South Briarcliffe Drive reported that $119.99 in fraudulent charges had been made to his credit card by an Internet company.
