Zalewski-Bathory engagement announced, wedding date set

• The engagement of Margaret-Erin Zalewski, 338 S. Hazelwood Ave., Youngstown, and Brian Paul Bathory, 151 Lowell Ave., Youngstown, and plans for their upcoming marriage are being announced by their mothers.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Mary Laureen Welsh of the Hazelwood Avenue address, and the future groom is a son of Donna Rexroad, 2271 Hubbard-Masury Road, Hubbard, and Bob Bathory of Virginia Beach, Va.

The couple have chosen New Life Lutheran Church in Youngstown for their 5 p.m. Oct. 18 wedding. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at St. Michael Social Hall, Youngstown.

The bride-to-be is attending Ashworth University School of Forensic Science in Norcross, Ga., online.

The prospective groom graduated from New Castle School of Trades in Pennsylvania and is employed by I.T.L. Corp. in Struthers.
