CANFIELD
Sept. 20
Drug arrest: A 37-year-old Canfield woman, a passenger in a vehicle stopped by police, was arrested on charges of drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and dangerous drugs on. W. Main Street. Police found a bag of marijuana. The driver of the vehicle, a 38-year-old Washingtonville man, was arrested for driving under suspension.
Sept. 22
Theft: A yard sign from a home in the 200 block of Callahan Road.
Identity fraud: A resident of the 100 block of Jade Circle went to the Canfield Police Station to file a report of identity theft.
Sept. 24
Theft: A Gateway notebook PC was shoplifted at Radio Shack, 429 E. Main Street.
Drug instruments: Two hypodermic syringes were found on a 26-year-old Canfield man on N. Broad Street He was arrested for possessing drug-abuse instruments.
Sept. 25
Theft: Four rims and tires for a Mazda were reported stolen at E-Auction King, 565 E. Main St.
Bad check: The city utilities office received a bad check for $358.18 to pay for utilities.

Theft: A Norster generator was stolen from a construction site on Kirk Road at state Route 11.
Recovered property: A 26-inch girls bicycle was recovered in the wooded area off Falcon Drive.
Breaking and entering: Two bicycles were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Cavalcade Drive.
Theft: A list of items stolen from an auto is to be filed with police in a theft at a home in the 400 block of New Hampshire Court.
Theft: A stereo and compact disc player was stolen from an auto in the carport at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Boulevard.
Bad checks: A resident in the 6000 block of New Road reported two of her renters had written bad checks for rent.
Burglary: Jewelry and coins were stolen from a home in the 4400 block of Nottingham Avenue.
Criminal mischief: A building was spray-painted at apartments in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.
Fraud: A man is a suspect in a fraudulent transaction in which victims received a money gram for $850 that wasn’t any good at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: A bicycle from a home in the 700 block of Oberlin Place.
Aggravated burglary: $50 in coins was stolen from a home in the 400 block of New Road.
Theft: A compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle at Austintown Fitch High School.
Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of W. Webb Road.

Menacing: A victim received threatening calls at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Theft: A motorcycle was stolen and recovered in a stolen van. Two men were arrested at Best Western Motel, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Recovered property: A stolen minivan, a 1995 Transport, was recovered at Best Western Motel.
Auto theft: A 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen from a home in the 80 block of N. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle and lawn mowers were damaged at a home in the 200 block of Elm Trace.
Theft: A man was issued a summons for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Felonious assault: A man was threatened with a knife at a home in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard.
Theft: A pistol was taken from a vehicle at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.
Theft: Beer was stolen from Get-Go, 5150 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A contractor took a deposit but did not perform the work at a home in the 80 block of Howard Street.

Criminal trespass: A 19-year-old male was on a property in the 200 block of N. Main Street with prior warning about trespassing.
Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at Santisi’s IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Aluminum was stolen at Vinyl Source, 427 Thatcher Lane.
Drug offense: A 17-year-old juvenile North Jackson female was arrested for possession of a bag of marijuana at Mahoning Avenue and Lexington Avenue.
Property damage: A vehicle was damaged at Infocision, 5749 Interstate Boulevard.
Menacing: Threats were made by a male at an apartment in the 100 block of Fitch Boulevard.
Telecommunications harassment: Text messages were received at a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a victim’s account at a home in the 2000 block of S. Turner Road.
Theft: A sign was taken from a home in the 100 block of Idlewood Road.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was taken from a home in the 90 block of N. Edgehill Ave.
Theft: A paycheck was taken from the console of a vehicle at an undisclosed location.
Menacing by stalking: A male suspect was calling and driving past a residence at a home in the 90 block of Howard Street.
Theft: A man was issued a summons for theft at Wal-Mart.
Drug offense: An Austintown woman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at state Route 46 and Lou Ida Road.
Theft: Door locks were pulled on an auto and compact discs were stolen in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Theft: Appliances were stolen by an ex-renter at a home in the 100 block of Idaho Road.
Drug Offense: A Howland man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia at the Babylon, 117 Javit Court.
Theft: Items were taken from a home by the landlord in the 100 block of Idaho Road.
Telecommunications harassment: A female is accused of harassment at home in the 600 block of N. Four-Mile Run Road.
Recovered property: A Mastercard was recovered in the road at Forest Hill Drive and Burkey Road.
Burglary: A DVD player and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Elm Trace Street.
Criminal damaging: Damage to walls of a residence was done in the 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: Prescription medications were stolen (45 morphine pills) at an apartment in the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: $43.71 in fuel was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A High Point 9mm handgun was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Amber Drive.
Theft: Three females were arrested for stealing merchandise at Wal-Mart.

Animal complaint: Residents moved out of a home in the 30 block of N. Roanoke Avenue and left a dog behind.
Theft: A Garmin GPS was stolen from an auto at Mr. Rooter, 5411 Mahoning Ave.
Car theft: A 1992 Buick Park Ave. was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Shadow Oak Drive.
Criminal trespass: A man was arrested for trespassing at Hillbrook apartments in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: $50 in fuel was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Menacing: Threats were made over the internet at a home in the 2000 block of Redgate Lane.

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 5400 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: $17.17 in food was not paid for at Denny’s Restaurant, 4927 Mahoning Ave.
Lost or stolen wallet: An Ohio license, ATM card, house and car keys belonging to a male were reported lost or stolen at an unknown location.
Theft: Two woman were arrested for theft at Wal-Mart and issued a summons.
Disorderly conduct: A man was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated menacing, as well as criminal damaging after he damaged the side window of a police car at a home in the 200 block of N. Main Street.
Recovered property: An ATM/Debit card was recovered in the 6000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Menacing: A man was arrested at Wal-Mart.

Vandalism: A window was broken at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.
Obstructing official business: A man was arrested and placed in county jail for obstructing official business at Meridian Road and Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal damaging: Siding was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Starwick Drive.
Theft: A wallet,, laptop, cell phone and cash were stolen from an auto in the parking lot of Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Compact discs and a case were stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.
Attempted theft: Door locks and two vehicles were broken at a home in the 800 block of S. Roanoke Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A trunk lock was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Aggravated menacing: A man is a suspect of menacing at Austinwoods, 4780 Kirk Road.
Theft: A woman is a suspect in stealing candy at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Assault: A woman’s new boyfriend and ex-husband fought at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
