Youngstown Area Federation of Women plans event

NOTEWORTHY: The Youngstown Area Federation of Women’s Club will celebrate its 102nd anniversary by hosting a scholarship fundraiser at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 15 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. The event will include a luncheon; a style show presented by Tula’s; music that is “The Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber” by Ellen Wakeford Banks and Jim McClellan, accompanied by Jack Ciarnello; a 50-50 raffle; Chinese auction; and door prizes. Displaying one of the auction items are, from left, Dottie Thomas, president; Marilou Stimple, Rusti Puromaki, and Barbara Higgins, committee members. Tickets for the event are $30.
