Shannon Sturgeon, John Hill to wed at Cortland Church

• The engagement of Shannon Sturgeon, 276 Stahl Ave., Cortland, and John Hill, 3112 Ivy Hill Circle, Cortland, and plans for their upcoming marriage are being announced.

Miss Sturgeon, a daughter of Joseph and Helen Sturgeon, also of 276 Stahl Ave., is a hair stylist with Michelangelo’s in Warren, following graduation from Trumbull County Technical Center in Champion.

Parents of the future groom are James and Kathy Hill, 4540 state Route 45, Leetonia. He earned a degree in applied science from Youngstown State University, and is a structural design engineer with Thorson and Baker and Associates in Richfield.

The couple have chosen St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Cortland as the setting for their 1 p.m. Oct. 25 wedding and Leo’s in Warren for their evening reception. Invitations will be issued for both.
