Oct. 25 is chosen for Purton-Stack wedding, reception

• STRUTHERS — Announced by Patrick and Mary Rose Purton, 598 W. Wilson St., are plans for the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Gloria Purton, 41868 Inspiration Terrace, Aldie, Va., and David Stack, a son of Barbara Stack, both of 238 Parkgate Ave., Austintown.

The couple will be united in marriage in an open ceremony at 2 p.m. on Oct. 25 at St. Stephen of Hungary Church, Youngstown. Their evening reception will be by invitation at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

Miss Purton graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science, and from Kent State University with a master’s in public administration. She is a zoning planner with Loudoun County Government in Leesburg, Va.

Mr. Stack, also a son of the late Howard Stack, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and a master of taxation degree from the University of Akron. He is an accountant with Ohio Management Services in Boardman.
