Columbiana county| Indictments
A Columbiana County grand jury recently indicted the following, including five people for an Aug. 17 escape from the county jail. A woman helped her boyfriend, Jason Heffner, and three other men escape. Three jailers were fired after the incident.
Melissa L. McCulley, 26, of East Main Street, Salineville, complicity to escape, burglary, breaking and entering, and receiving stolen property.
Jason Heffner, 28, of Main Street, East Liverpool, escape and theft.
William E. Merritt, 40, of Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, escape and theft.
Mark E. Foden, 38, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, escape, theft and possession of drugs.
John T. Hamilton, 21, of Fourth Street, Salem, escape and theft.
Clarence O. Kinder, 53, of Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Brandon L. Dunn, 23, of Chester, W.Va., receiving stolen property.
James A. Moore, 19, Cedar Alley, Wellsville, receiving stolen property.
Michael W. VanHorn Jr., 21, of Continental Drive, Salem, assault.
Kaleb E. Simpson, 18, of Kelly Park Road, Columbiana, aggravated menacing.
Carl B. Chain, 30, Tip Top Alley, East Liverpool, failure to notify sheriff of change of address.
Clifton Walker, 48, no address given, carrying a concealed weapon.
Christopher M. Hamrick, 25, breaking and entering, theft and receiving stolen property.
Robert J. Tincani, 61, of East Rebecca Street, East Palestine, failure to notify sheriff of change of address.
Valerie Hill, 32, of Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, assault and escape.
Timothy Lewis, 53, of Main Street, Salineville, burglary and receiving stolen property.
Brian Crean, 37, of East Perry Street, Salem, attempted aggravated arson.
Thomas Jackson, 59, of Coolidge Avenue, East Liverpool, failure to notify sheriff of change of address.
