Salvation Army , SCORE will offer career training course

YOUNGSTOWN — The Salvation Army with the help of Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) will have a career training course at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Salvation Army, 1501 Glenwood Ave.

The course will last an hour and is free and open to the public. Those who attend will learn the necessary preparations when applying and interviewing for jobs.

Writing a resume, proper interview attire, completing job applications and searching for jobs are some of the highlighted topics offered by the course.

On Oct. 7, the career training course continues with an extended session from 9 a.m. to noon. The extended course includes a workshop on the basics of beginning a small business.
