Poland, Ursuline, Mooney lead ratings

Poland and Ursuline are the top-ranked teams in their divisions in the latest Associated Press poll.
Even better, they’re the top-ranked teams in the ratings that matters most.
The unbeaten Bulldogs are first in the Division III, Region 11 computer ratings, while the 5-0 Irish are first in the Div. V, Region 17 standings.
Boardman is ranked third in Division I, Region 1 after a 5-0 start, while Warren Harding (4-1) is 10th. Harding lost to Mooney two weeks ago.
The top eight in each region advance to the postseason.
Liberty (5-0) and Hubbard (4-1) are fifth and sixth, respectively, in Div. III, Region 9.
In Div. IV, Mooney (4-1) is first in Region 13, while Girard (5-0) is 10th. The Cardinals’ lone loss came in Week One to Mentor.
South Range (4-1) and Crestview (4-1) are fifth and eighth in Region 17. They will meet this Friday in an Inter Tri-County League Tier One showdown.
In Div. VI, Region 21, five Mahoning Valley teams are in the top eight.
McDonald (5-0) takes the fourth spot, followed by Western Reserve (5-0), Leetonia (5-0), Columbiana (4-1) and Springfield (3-2).
