• Living Free, a Bible based 12-step program for those faced with daily struggles, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at God’s Recovery Hut, 8590 Hitchcock Road.

• Mended Hearts, a support group for heart disease patients and their families, meets the last Wednesday of each month from 7-9 p.m. at Forum Health Medical Education Building of North Side hospital, in the auditorium.

Meetings are led by the president, Joe Clark. The speakers for the remainder of the year are Dr. Katz on Thursday; The Friendly Trapper, Harold Bailey, Oct. 24; and Dr. Luis Villaplana, Nov. 19.

Beginning in 2009, meetings will move to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman with optional dinner attendance at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, followed by the meeting at 7 p.m.
