• WARREN — Alison R. Conklin and Nicholas Da-Ming Su were united in marriage on June 21 at North Mar Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.

The bride’s brother, the Rev. Mark Conklin, officiated at the ceremony.

Afterward the couple were honored during a reception at the Avalon Inn Ballroom in Howland before leaving for a honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia.

The daughter of Ray and Karen Conklin of Hubbard and the son of Joshua Chia-Hsing Su of Taiwan and the late Madonna Su, live in Taipei, Taiwan.

Jena VanDerMolen was the matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Andrea Ceplecci and Adrienne Ruegg.

The duties of best man were performed by Kevin Dam, and serving as groomsmen were Alex Su, a brother of the groom, and Kenny Hsu. Ushers were Brian Conklin, the bride’s brother; Richard Kim; Frank Kim; Tim Mar, William Ozaki; Michael Wong; and Ankur Vakil. Ring bearers were Teddy Su, a nephew of the groom, and Elijah and Jonah Conklin, nephews of the bride.

Mrs. Su graduated from Nyack College in New York and received a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. She teaches English as a secondary language in Taipei.

Mr. Su graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a degree in computer engineering and also teaches in Taipei.
