Two girls charged with fighting on school bus


YOUNGSTOWN — A school bus leaving East High School returned to the parking lot because two girls fighting on the bus caused a large disturbance Tuesday afternoon, police said. The girls, both ninth graders, were exchanging blows when police arrived and one had to be sprayed with pepper spray when she tried to continue fighting, reports show. The students were taken off the bus and each issued a disorderly conduct citation. An appearance date will be set for them in juvenile court.
