Renewal of vows, Las Vegas trip set for Uroseva 50th


• YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Uroseva of Youngstown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 5 by renewing their marriage vows during a Mass at St. Anthony Church. Monsignor John DeMarinis will officiate.

The couple will continue the celebration during a trip to Las Vegas with their family, Nicholas and Loretta Uroseva of Austintown, Sherry Uroseva of Cleveland and Jeffrey Uroseva of Poland. Completing the family circle are their grandsons, Nicholas G. and Mark S. Uroseva.

Also joining the Urosevas on their trip will be members of their original wedding party, Marlea Passarelli, Mrs. Uroseva’s cousin, and Toni Ragan, her sister. Other family members will join them in Las Vegas.

The former Sylvia Leone and Mr. Uroseva were married Oct. 11, 1958, by the Rev. Peter J. Faini. They were the last couple to be married at the old St. Anthony Church on West Federal Street before it was torn down and rebuilt on Turin Avenue.

Mr. Uroseva was employed for 30 years at General Motors in Lordstown before retiring in 1996. Mrs. Uroseva was employed at Designs by Carol Vechiarelli before retiring.
