Mass and dinner honor Voytkos for 50th anniversary

• MANSFIELD — Edward and Maryanne Voytko, 1125 Briarwood Road, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 20 during a Mass and dinner at the home of their daughter, Susan Bacin, in Lexington.

Serving as hosts and hostesses were the couple’s children and their spouses: Julianne and Steve Wolf of Cleveland, Tenn.; Susan and Keith Bacin of Lexington; and Ed and Robin Voytko of Lucas. The honored couple also have nine grandchildren.

The former Maryanne Ellish married Mr. Voytko Sept. 27, 1958, at St. Peter Church, where they are members.

Mrs. Voytko retired in 1996 from Rehabilitation Services of North Central Ohio in Mansfield, where she had been the front receptionist.

Mr. Voytko, a former Youngstown resident and Ursuline High School graduate, retired in 1994 from Armco Steel as a foreman in the roller mill. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

Since retiring, the Voytkos are enjoying traveling and spending time with their family.
