Marching band sets pep rally at Beeghly

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown State University “Marching Pride” will return to Beeghly Gymnasium for a pregame “Ice Breaker” pep rally at Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

The rally also will feature the marching band from Hubbard High School, under the direction of William Forrester.

Both bands will perform music from their season, including halftime and pregame selections. The pep rally of music is free and open to the public.

This year, the YSU marching band is featuring music to help the Penguins “Fight the Bad Guys” that visit Stambaugh Stadium by calling on the help of superheroes from recent films.
