Bag sale is benefit for local missions

DAMASCUS — Damascus United Methodist Church, 300 Valley Road, is accepting good, workable, and usable items for a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 4. Patrons can fill a brown paper bag for $4 all day Oct. 3 and until noon Oct. 4. From noon to closing on Oct. 4 the cost will be $1. Large items will be priced separately.

There will also be a bake sale and lunch bar. Proceeds will benefit local missions supported by Damascus United Methodist Women.
