Warren cops investigate assault on teen girl

WARREN — A 17-year-old high school student was assaulted by an 18-year-old girl while the victim was getting off her school bus, she told police.

The victim said she knew the girl who hit her with brass knuckles several times in the head at the corner of Northwest Boulevard and Landsdown Avenue Northwest at 2:30 p.m. Monday.

The victim said the 18-year-old followed her bus in another vehicle and then attacked her while she was getting off the bus.

The victim received treatment at St. Joseph Minor Emergency & Diagnostic Center on Tod Place Northwest.
