• BOARDMAN — The wedding of Wanda L. P rez, 1519 Himrod Ave., Youngstown, and Renaldo Saunders of Warren took place at 3 p.m. Aug. 8 in the gazebo at Boardman Township Park.

Pastor William Wolfgang officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Jose A. P rez and Maria M. Medina, both of Youngstown, and the son of Kyle M. and Ramona Saunders of Salem.

After a reception at DiVieste Banquet Hall in Warren, the couple left for a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico. Upon return, they live at 387 Homewood Ave. SE, Warren.

The bride wore an ivory gown enhanced with pearls.

Red, ivory and black gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Marilyn Cruz, and the bridesmaids, Keileen Martinez, her niece; Taylor Solakakis; and Brenda Andujar, the groom’s cousin. Flower girl was Hannah Bower.

Jose P rez, the bride’s brother, was best man, and groomsmen were Joseph P rez and Juan P rez Jr., sons of the bride; and Eddie Montoyo, who also ushered. Ring bearer was the groom’s son, Kyle Saunders.

The bride is a processor with Toys ‘R’ Us Distribution Center in Youngstown, and the groom is a material driver with General Motors Corp. in Lordstown. He attended Kent and Youngstown state universities.
