• CANFIELD — Old North Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. July 5 for the wedding of Emily Lee Albertson 111 Linden St., Ravenna, and Homer Wiland, 354 Neff Drive. Dr. Brent Allen officiated.

A reception at the B&O Station Banquet Hall in Youngstown honored the daughter of James and Lee Albertson, 7288 County Road 21, Fredericktown., and son of Homer and Karen Wiland of the Neff Drive address.

The couple postponed their wedding trip to Carlsbad, Calif., until December and live in Ravenna.

Adorned with pearls and light pink flowers, the bride’s ivory A-line gown featured a chapel train.

Spice-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Brittany Petty, and the bridesmaids, Neelam Patel, Ruchi Bhatia, Dr. Amanda Kinney, Dr. Christina Cernik, Laura Stanley, Amy Richardson, and the groom’s sister, Allison Wiland. Flower girls were Allysa and Emilee Suto and Sophia Thompson.

Serving as best man was Malva Joshi, and groomsmen were Michael Miladore, and the groom’s cousins, Daniel Holloway and Cory Thomas. Ring bearer was Judson Thompson, and ushers were the grooms’s cousins, Kyle, Ethan and Andrew Thomas.

The bride and groom are attending Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, where she is a fourth-year medical student and he is a third-year medical student.
