Slippery Rock 24, Gannon 16 — SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Redshirt sophomore Ryan Lehmeier ran for two touchdowns, giving him seven for the season, in The Rock’s PSAC West win. Lehmeier gained 50 yards on 16 carries, while Brandon Frohnapple was 11-of-25 for 165 yards. Robert Doiley returned a blocked punt 45 yards for a touchdown with just under 13:29 remaining in the game to give Slippery Rock (3-1, 1-0) a 24-16 lead. Jon Richardson rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown for Gannon (2-2, 0-1).

No. 3 Georgia 27, Arizona State 10 — TEMPE, Ariz. — Knowshon Moreno rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns and A.J. Green caught eight passes for 159 yards and a score for Georgia. The Sun Devils finished with 4 yards rushing on 19 carries.

No. 5 Missouri 42, Buffalo 21 — COLUMBIA, Mo. — Chase Daniel passed for a career-high 439 yards and set a Big 12 record with 20 consecutive completions, helping Missouri overcome a rash of errors. The Tigers (4-0) lost three fumbles in Buffalo territory and special teams mistakes led to two of the Bulls’ touchdowns, keeping the game close well into the second half against a 331‚Ñ2-point underdog.

North Carolina St. 30, No. 15 East Carolina 24, OT — RALEIGH, N.C. — Andre Brown’s 10-yard touchdown run in overtime lifted North Carolina State to an upset. Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes — including a game-tying 5-yarder to George Bryan with 1:12 left in regulation for the Wolfpack (2-2), seven-point underdogs who hung around all afternoon and never trailed by more than a touchdown.

No. 25 Fresno State 55, Toledo 54 — TOLEDO — Nico Herron knocked down Aaron Opelt’s two-point conversion pass in the second overtime for Fresno State. Toledo coach Tom Amstutz decided to go for the win after the Rockets (1-2) scored on Opelt’s 3-yard touchdown pass to tight end John Allen on fourth down to make it a one-point game.
