NORTH CANTON — Molly Martin scored the tying goal on an assist by Michelle Gettemy. Goalkeeper Kelly Fening made nine saves. For Hoover, Allaina Hardgrove scored on an assist from Katie Freshover and goalkeeper Taylor Maceyal made six saves.

Fitch 5, St. Joseph Academy 0

AUSTINTOWN — Tori Koch scored two goals in the first half to pace the Falcons (6-4-1). Kaitlyn Shiley, Emily Durina and Kiki Novosel each scored a goal. Kristen Schmidt had an assists. Fitch had 12 shots on goal and St. Joseph had three. Alli Tolich made three saves. JV: 1-1.

Boardman 3, Champion 0

BOARDMAN — Lea Byers scored two goals for the Spartans (8-1). Heather Hughes scored the other goal. Taylor Deley, Danielle Petrus and Courtney Gratz each had an assist. The Spartans had 21 shots on goal and Champion had four. Cheyenne Khatib made two saves. T. Peterson had 17 saves for the Golden Flashes. JV: Boardman 3-0.

Harding 3, Liberty 0

WARREN — Katie Polenick scored two goals and Rachel Lamarco had one for the Raiders (2-4-2). Mariah Brown had an assist while goalkeepers Averille Merton and Allison Gardner combined for seven saves. Elysa Raib made 10 saves for the Leopards.

Beaver Local 3, Springfield 2

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Alexis Thrasher scored two goals and had an assist for the Beavers (3-2-3). Allie Banger scored the other goal. Brittany Dowd had an assist. Allyson Berry scored both goals for the Tigers (8-2). Amber Uscianowski and Alexis Zubich each had an assists. The Beavers had 14 shots on goal and the Tigers had 12. Springfield goalkeeper Heather Cozak had eight saves. Missy Headley had five saves and Leah Wilson three for Beaver Local. JV: Howland 5-1.

East Liverpool 6, Crestview 1

EAST LIVERPOOL — Jaymee McDougall had two goals while Shari Burchett, Jules Dawson, Jackie Burns and Shannon Fickle had single tallies for the Potters (4-3-2). Amanda Robb had the goal for Crestview (1-6-2).

BOARDMAN — In the completion of a suspended game, Marshall Finelli and Kevin Patrick scored for the Irish (5-2-4). Mike Goldthwait and Manuel Esparra earned assist. Andrew Rich made seven stops. For the Spartans, Christian Sylvestri scored and goalkeeper Todd Merry made two saves. JV: Boardman, 2-1.

Poland 2, Lakeview 0

POLAND — Danny Hunt scored both goals for Poland (7-2). Matt Mrosek and Taylor Malaniak had assists and goalkeeper Cooper Kostelic made four saves. Lakeview (5-4-1) goalkeeper Mike Pasternak made five saves. JV: Lakeview, 2-0.

Mooney 4, Bloom-Carroll 2

CARROLL — Matt McWilson scored two goals while Hector Hernandez and Kyle Thomas had one each. Hernandez, McWilson and Thomas Beck had assists. Brandon Fotiuk made a save. For Bloom-Carroll, John Muryn and Tyler Muryn scored goals. Kyle Petty made eight saves. JV: Mooney 2, Bloom-Carroll 1; Licking Valley 2, Mooney 1.

Howland 5, Hubbard 0

HOWLAND — Eric Albani, Connor Gilmour, Isaac Weisman, Cameron Francis and Tyler Shaw scored for the Tigers. Weisman, Albani and Tyler Williams made assists. Goalkeeper Mike Boker made one save. Hubbard goalkeeper Steve Roos stopped 10 shots. JV: Howland, 9-1.

Liberty 3, Fitch 2

AUSTINTOWN — Tom Stark scored two goals and Matt Tharp one for the Leopards (6-2). Alex Brown and Eric Wolf earned assists and goalkeeper Josh Hideg made eight saves.

Heartland Christian 3, Columbiana 1

COLUMBIANA — After a scoreless first half, Justin Storm had two goals and Kyle Knepper one with Knepper and Treg Lunger getting assists for Heartland (5-2). Hank Schluter had the score for Columbiana. Alex Bable had 14 saves for Columbiana while Heartland goalkeeper Owen Stryffeler had 13 stops. Heartland’s defense was led by Nate Hall with 13 stops.

Crestview 8, East Liverpool 4

COLUMBIANA — Justin Kleinknecht had four goals, Seth DuMoulin had two and Nate Norris and Tyler Ogle had one apiece for the winners (6-4-2). Norris also had three assists, while DuMoulin had two for Crestview. Cody Culp and Joe Zirillo each had two goals for East Liverpool (2-8).
