Mr. and Mrs. Seely mark occasion of 50th anniversary

• POLAND — Donald R. and Barbara Seely, 6654 Shawbutte St., celebrated their 50th anniversary Aug. 22 with a dinner party for invited guests at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.

The couple’s children are Scott and Ann Seely of Edmond, Okla., and Christine and Paul Owens of North Ridgeville. Six granddaughters round out the family.

The former Barbara Wentz and Mr. Seely exchanged wedding vows Aug. 22, 1958, at Zion Lutheran Church, New Middletown. They are members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Seely, a retired math teacher for Poland Schools, is a member of Youngstown Panhellenic Association.

Mr. Seely, an attorney and officer of Midland Title/Inter-County Inc. in Youngstown, belongs to the YMCA and served in the Ohio National Guard.
