Dinner at grill honors Mastells on anniversary


• CANFIELD — Dona Vito’s Italian Grill in Struthers was the setting Aug. 31 for a dinner party that honored Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Mastell, 6849 Tippecanoe Road, on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary.

Invitations for the event were extended by their children and their spouses, Michael and Joan Mastell of Columbus, Dean and Rose Mastell of Struthers, Melanie Banfield of Poland, Mitchell and Terri Mastell of Petersburg, and Marty and Ronnie Mastell of Tuttle, Okla.

The Mastells, who were united in marriage on Sept. 11, 1948, at St. Joseph Church in Canton, have 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mastell, the former Betty Morena, was employed by J.C. Penney Co. in Boardman prior to retiring in 1988. Her hobbies are playing cards and golfing.

Mr. Mastell served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and is retired after being self-employed in the home improvement business in Struthers. He enjoys golfing.
