INDUCTEE BIOS

Tim Grady, track/cross country, 1986

Grady capped his four-year career as a track and cross country runner by setting a school record in the two-mile, as well as making all-SVC and winning the regional meet, then placing 10th at state. As a junior and senior he led his cross country teams to ninth and fourth place finishes, respectively, in the state meet.

Jack Grdic, football, 1988

Grdic anchored the offensive line on the 1987 state finalist team. He was a two-time all-SVC, and also earned all-Ohio, Mack Truck Offensive Lineman Finalist and Ohio North-South All-Star team member. He earned a full athletic scholarship to Kent State.

Liz Hauger-Grzesk, basketball, 1993

A four-year letter winner, Hauger passed the 1,000 career point milestone and was an all-SVC selection her last three seasons. She made all-district as a junior and a senior and earned second team all-Ohio. She played collegiately at YSU.

Nadine Moschella-Colla, basketball, 1993

The second of three daughters to play for their legendary father, Coach Ron Moschella, Nadine was a four-year letterwinner. She was second team all-SVC as a sophomore ad first team the next two years. She holds school records for assists in a season and a game. She won four league and district titles. She earned a full scholarship to YSU before knee injuries limited her play.

Santi Nalluri Nallapaneni, tennis, 1993

Santi Nalluri was named team MVP four times and qualified for state competition each year. She was a state semifinalist as a sophomore and a junior and team captain in both 11th and 12th grade. She played collegiately at YSU.

Heather Nordgren Moyers, track, 1993

Nordgren was the SVC champion all four years and the district and Mahoning County champion for three consecutive years in both the shot put and the discus. Nordgren qualified for the state meet three times, earning all-Ohio status in both events as a senior. She threw collegiately at Bowling Green.

Lee Radler, contributor

Lee Radler began coaching basketball at BHS in 1965, joining Alan Burns primarily as a freshman coach. He then became a varsity assistant into the new millenium, finishing his career under Dan Gorski. He also coached at YSU for a time on the staff of Bob Patton.

Jerry Tuscano, football, 1974

Like his older brother, Frank (BHS 1969, HOF 2002), Jerry Tuscano anchored the inside linebacker spot for three years. As a senior, Tuscano was a tri-captain who was elected to both the All-SVC and All-NEO teams. He played at YSU.

Tony Volpe, soccer, 1993

A four-year letterman, Volpe earned All-SVC honors his last three years and made the All-Akron Conference team as both a junior and senior. As team captain his senior year, Tony was named all-state, Gatorade Ohio Player of the Year, and NSCAA All-American. He also earned three varsity letters in swimming at and served as team captain in his senior year. He played at Duke.

David Wolfe, football

Wolfe led the Spartan defensive line in the mid-1980s. He was named to all-SVC in both 11th and 12th grade, and as a senior was selected all-district. He played collegiately at North Carolina.
