AARP 4545

• Boardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, will meet at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 2 at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman with Elmer Haidle presiding. The menu choice is stuffed chicken breast or perch francaise for $13.50. Reservations are due Thursday by sending a check with the entree choice to Helen Day, 543 W. Glen Drive, Boardman, OH 44512, or by calling (330) 782-2816. Dan Slagle, Boardman Township Park renovation chairman, will be the speaker, and anniversaries and birthdays will be observed. • Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark Church with Lou Pizzuto presiding. Luncheon will be served. Hosts will be Dorothy and Lou Pizzuto. Retirees are welcome.

HOLY NAME

• Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Sept. 28 in Founders Hall for lunch, cards and bingo. Hostesses are Nancy Raymer, Josephine Borsick and Rose Dolecki. Wilma Kutlick will preside, and reports will be given by Ginnie Miller and Marge Bada. September birthdays will be observed, and there will be a drawing.

MARTHA LUPSE

• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. • Retirees of Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Local 717 will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the union hall, 2950 Sferra Ave., in Warren Commerce Park. Members are asked to take a labeled covered dish and table service. This month’s speaker is from the Warren Fire Department, and the topic is carbon monoxide. Members are reminded to take nonperishable items, canned goods, paper products, etc., for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

• Oliver Montgomery SOAR Chapter 27-16 will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road. New members are welcome. Meetings take place the last Wednesday of each month.

STS. PETER AND PAUL

• Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center. Ann Smith will preside, and Pat Hoffman will give a report. Lunch will be served by Josephine Appugliese, Annie Revetti, Eleanor Lucci and Irene LaBlanc.

Members are asked to take $6 for the Christmas party.
