RACHEL DUROCHIA/TOM BRENNEIS III


• POLAND — St. Lucia was the honeymoon destination of Tom Brenneis III and the former Rachel Durochia, both of 1917 Blackwolf Run Lane, Raleigh, N.C., after their wedding on July 19 at Holy Family Church and reception afterward at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park.

Monsignor William Connell officiated at 1:30 p.m. for the daughter of Richard and Linda Durochia, 2767 Poland Village Blvd., and the son of Tom and Nancy Brenneis, Southwind Trail.

Swarovski crystal beading enhanced the dropped waistline and chapel train of the bride’s strapless A-line gown of silk taffeta.

The bride’s sisters and honor attendants, Suzanne Durochia of Columbus and Diane Durochia of Poland, wore robin’s egg blue gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Shannon Hanley of West Middlesex, Pa.; Jennifer Marstellar of Canfield; and Erin Maloney of Ypsilanti, Mich.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Michael Brenneis of Poland , and groomsmen were Andrew Musselman and Peter Musselman, both of Poland; Larry Anderson of Garland, Texas; and Travis Roth of Columbiana.

Mrs. Brenneis graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Youngstown State University. She is a graphic designer with YMCA of the Triangle in Raleigh. Mr. Brenneis is a retail manager with Sears in Raleigh. He earned a degree in marketing management at YSU. The couple live in Raleigh.
