Ducks Unlimited expo

LINESVILLE, Pa. — The 27th annual Ducks Unlimited Pymatuning Waterfowl & Outdoor Expo will be today and Sunday. The event will kick off with the annual Expo Parade at 10 a.m. today.

Course at Eastern Ohio

SALEM — Eastern Ohio Conservation Club, West Calla Road, is offering a hunter safety course and a concealed-carry safety class today and Sunday.

The hunter education course will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Students must attend both sessions. The course is free.

DU membership banquet

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning Valley Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will have its annual membership banquet Friday at Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with cocktails at 6 and dinner at 7. The auction will begin at 8:30.

Ticket prices: single, $60; couple, $95; youth, $40; sponsor, $300; and sponsor couple, $340. Raffle is for a Remington 870 Super-Mag 12-gauge shotgun. Tickets are $3 each or three for $10.

Youth Sportsfest Camp

VIENNA — The Trumbull County 4-H Shooting Sports Pioneers Club will host a free NRA Youth Sportsfest Camp on Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fish & Game Club of Vienna.

The purpose of this event is to teach basic gun and archery safety, demystify firearms by providing hands-on experience, and provide an enjoyable learning experience to all youths ages 9 to 18.

Participants will have the opportunity to safely shoot .22 rifle, .22 pistol, shotgun, muzzleloading rifle and archery equipment with adult supervision. A picnic lunch will be provided.

Gun show at Hidden Valley

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. — A gun and sporting goods show will be Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hidden Valley Sportsmen’s Club, 268 Gilkey Road.

Admission is $4; children under 12 with an adult get in free. A concession stand and free parking will be available. An 8-foot table can be reserved for $15 for both days.

Hunter safety course

VIENNA — A hunter safety course will be offered Oct. 17 from 6-10 p.m. and Oct. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fish & Game Club of Vienna.
