• YOUNGSTOWN — The Aug. 23 wedding of Karrie Michael, a daughter of Bruce and Carol Michael, 5131 Oakcrest Ave., Austintown, and David Chilkotowsky Jr., a son of David Chilkotowsky Sr. of Medford, N.J., and Stephanie Arasim, Mount Holly, N.J., took place at 3 p.m. in the Rose Garden at Mill Creek Park.

The Rev. Sherwood Jackson officiated, and a reception took place at Lucianno’s Banquet Center in Austintown. They live at 53 Benton St., Austintown.

A royal blue sash and crystal beading enhanced the bride’s strapless white satin princess-style gown.

Wearing royal blue gowns were the honor attendant, Erin Watkins of Austintown, and the bridesmaids, Tina Lind of Poland and Brandy Crum of Austintown. Flower girl was the bride’s daughter, Khloe Stanton of Austintown.

The duties of best man were performed by Dave Schofield of Mineral Ridge, and groomsmen were Jim Lange of Mineral Ridge, and Adam Wylam of Austintown. The bride’s son, Paul Stanton Jr. of Austintown, was the ring bearer.

The bride earned an associate degree in applied business at Trumbull Business College in Warren and is an IT quality assurance specialist with AIM NationaLease in Girard.

The groom is in therapeutic staff support with Community Alternatives in New Castle, Pa. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
