CHARITY GROVES/MICHAEL ROBERTSHAW


• YOUNGSTOWN — Charity Groves, a daughter of Sharon and Scott Wolford, 630 High St., Washingtonville, and Michael Robertshaw, a son of Raymond and Sharon Robertshaw, 3520 Hopkins Road, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. July 19 at Crossroads Church. Jeff Miller presided.

After a reception at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman, the couple left for a honeymoon in Ocean City, Md. They live at 7366 West Blvd., Boardman.

The bride wore a strapless ivory gown enhanced with beading on the bodice and the back.

Plum-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Anne Rarick of Girard and Abigail Saylor of Seneca, Pa., and the bridesmaids, Lindsay Jackson of Bellefontaine and Melissa Maybee of Rochester, N.Y. Junior bridesmaids were Jillian and Jessica Miller of Poland.

Best men were Nicholas Maus of Boardman and Matthew Hands of North Carolina, and groomsmen were Jesse O’Connor of Boardman, Justin Conrad of Austintown and Jeremy Crum of Canfield. Junior groomsman was the groom’s nephew, Hayden Robertshaw of Boardman, and usher was Dylan Wolford of Washingtonville, the bride’s stepbrother.

The bride, a preschool teacher, graduated from Malone College in Canton with a bachelor’s degree in special education/early childhood education.

The groom is an intern with Ohio Department of Transportation in Akron and is attending Youngstown State University.
