Ursuline 1, Grand River Academy 1

YOUNGSTOWN — Kevin Patrick scored a goal on an assist from Dominic Parish as Ursuline rallied late in the first half to tie Grand River. M.J. O’Neil scored the goal for Grand River early in the first half. The Irish (4-2-4) had six shots on goal, while Grand River had four. Ursuline’s goalkeeper Andrew Rich had three saves. Jim Lacko, Cory Coffey and Ben Naples turned in outstanding defensive performances for the Irish. Dave Crimmins had five saves for Grand River Academy (2-1-1). JV: Ursuline 3-1.

Poland 6, Champion 0

CHAMPION — Ryan Storkel scored three goals while Andrew McElroy, Leo D’Angelo and Taylor Malaniak had one each. Earning assists for the Bulldogs (6-2) were Storkel, John Elias, Matt Mrozek and Charles Lamping. Goalkeeper Cooper Kostelic made five saves. For the Golden Flashes (7-1-1), goalkeeper Brent Barbe made six saves. JV: Poland, 2-0.

Howland 2, Woodridge 2

HOWLAND — Woodridge got its first goal on a penalty kick at 20:30 and took the lead with a goal by Cody Lemke on a breakaway at 16:51. Cody Johnson scored off an assist by Ethan Kuszmaul with 33:49 remaining. Connor Sherin scored on a cross sent by Eric Albani to tie the game. Howland (4-1-4) goalkeeper Dan Miller made seven saves and Woodridge’s Josh Cunningham had four.

Pottersville Christian 6, Heartland Christian 2

POTTERSVILLE — Jacob Zeigler scored two goals while Tyler Herblson, Keenan Bazzoll, Zach Zeigler and Justin Santoro scored one apiece for Pottersville. Justin Storm and Kyle Knepper each scored for Heartland Christian. Owen Stryffler had 14 saves for Heartland while Michael Coyne had eight saves for Pottersville.

GIRLS

Crestview 4, Struthers 1

STRUTHERS — Olivia Gamble scored two goals for the Rebels (1-6). Emily Corll and Brianna Vlaiku had the others. Amanda Kissinger had two assists while Gamble and Erica Cox had one. For the Wildcats (0-6), Nicholette Demyan scored on an assist by Kaitlyn Setcik.

Badger 5, Pymatuning Valley 0

KINSMAN — Taylor Phillips scored two goals for the Braves (5-4-1, 4-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Amelia Deraway, Shawna McNeely and Stacy Deraway each scored. Adrianna Braho had two assists, while Deraway and Estonia Bryant each had one. Goalkeeper Kelsey Flowers had five saves for the Braves. Lauren Feman had eight saves for the Lakers (2-5-1, 0-3-1).

Hubbard 1, Lakeview 1

HUBBARD — Jordana Lima scored the goal for the Eagles (5-4-3) on an assist from Emily Skebo midway through the first half. Erica Runyan scored for the Bulldogs with 10 minutes remaining in the first half. Goalkeeper Mariah Gordon made 13 saves for the Eagles. Desaree Ness made eight for the Bulldogs. JVs: Lakeview, 2-0.
