Last week: The Trumbull County native started in 31st position at the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and finished in 33rd place, three laps off the leaders.

Season to date: Blaney is in 31st position in the Sprint Cup standings, but he fell a little bit to those just ahead of him. In 30th place, Michael Waltrip is now 35 points ahead, and at No. 29 Reed Sorenson is 57 points ahead.

Next: NASCAR’s top series heads to Dover, Del., for the Camping World RV 400 at Dover International Speedway on Sunday. ABC coverage (WYTV Channel 33) will start at 1 p.m. with the green flag scheduled to drop shortly after 2. Qualifying is set for today at 3 p.m.
