Beaver Local teachers, board reach tentative agreement

ROGERS — Beaver Local Education Association and the Beaver Local Board of Education reached a tentative agreement today on a new contract.

Details won’t be released until both sides have ratified the pact, the union and board said in a joint press release.

The teachers’ union gave a notice to the board last week that teachers had planned to strike at 3:30 a.m. Monday. The old three-year pact expired Aug. 31.
