• YOUNGSTOWN — Katie Holzbach, a daughter of Dr. John and Margaret Holzbach, 5063 Shields Road, Canfield, and Adam Shuster, a son of Jerome and Suzanne Shuster, 8755 Olde Hickory Ave., Sarasota, Fla., were united in marriage on June 7 during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by Monsignor David Rhodes at St. Christine Church.
The couple accepted congratulations as they were honored at a reception after the ceremony at Antone’s Banquet Centre.
They live at 1010 Rendition Drive, McDonough, Ga.
The bride wore a strapless diamond white gown of vintage taffeta and Vidal lace. It featured an empire band sprinkled with crystals and a chapel train.
Island blue gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Laura Gonzalez, and the bridesmaids, Kristin Rutkousky, Erin Mogg, Julie Strauss, Audrey Martinko, Chelsea Hutch and Claire Kennedy.
The duties of best man were performed by Jerad Shuster, the groom’s brother, and groomsmen were Tom Holzbach, the bride’s brother; Scott Hively; Jason Bolchak; Sean McHenry; Travis Brown; and Bill DiFrangia.
The bride graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing science and is pursuing a master’s degree in education in Greensboro, N.C.
The groom, a continuous improvement coordinator with Heinz in Atlanta, graduated from OSU with a degree in industrial and systems engineering.
