CANFIELD

Sept. 7

Theft: A Youngstown man informed police in the parking lot of the Canfield Police Department,104 Lisbon St., that his ex-son-in-law took his cell phone, a black and blue LG, from him, at McDonald’s Restaurant, 586 E. Main St.

Sept. 8

Identity theft: A woman reported at the police station that she was in Canada from Sept. 4 to 7, and on Sept. 8 she started to notice that someone was using her ATM information. She said unauthorized withdrawals on an international level were being made on her account.

Sept. 10

Forgery: A man reported at the police station that his signature was forged on a life insurance policy.

Internet theft: A resident of the 50 block of North Hillside Road told police he had made a Moneygram wire transfer of $4,800 in an attempt to purchase a vehicle over the Internet. While his wire transfer was cashed, he never received the vehicle.

Sept. 8

Theft: A digital camera was stolen from an auto at a home in the 50 block of North Main Street.

Theft: Fraudulent charges were made on an account at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A Ford Taurus was stolen from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 4908 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Two cell phones were stolen at Walgreen’s, 40 N. Meridian Road.

Menacing: A male is a suspect in menacing at Wendy’s Restaurant, 27 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Suspects fled in a green Oldsmobile after a theft at Wal-Mart.

Burglary: A burglary was reported at an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Auto theft: A dark blue Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: A GPS was stolen from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.

Theft: Televisions were purchased but never delivered at Audio Overdrive, 5462 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated menacing: A man was arrested for menacing at Watson Elementary School, 215 Idaho Road.

Fraud: A daughter opened a credit account in her father’s name at a home in the 3000 block of Rebecca Drive.

Burglary: A male neighbor was arrested for receiving stolen property from a home in the 2000 block of Elm Trace.

Menacing: A male is a suspect in menacing at a home in the 400 block of New Road.

Theft: A 13-year-old male juvenile was arrested for taking merchandise from the Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Sept. 10

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card at Carl’s Towing & Road Service, 6704 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card at a home in the 5000 block of Pine Shadow Court.

Recovered property: A red tool box with tools and supplies was recovered at Mahoning Avenue and Turner Road.

Theft: Two remote starters and $250 in cash were taken for work that was never performed at Audio Overdrive.

Theft: Transmissions for a Pontiac and a Ford were stolen along with a steel pipe and aluminum car parts from a home in the 1000 block of Turner Road.

Theft: Three juveniles were apprehended for theft at Wal-Mart and turned over to their parents.

Burglary: There was no sign of forced entry at an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road, but computer equipment was stolen.

Sept. 11

Menacing: A male was accused of menacing a female at a home in the 5000 block of Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A debit card was taken at Perkins, 5550 Interstate Boulevard.

Theft: A woman was arrested on theft charges at Wal-Mart.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at a home in the 4000 block of New Hampshire Circle.

Sept. 12

Drug abuse: A Youngstown man was arrested on charges of drug abuse of marijuana on Mahoning Avenue at South Edgehill Avenue.

Burglary: A man was apprehended in an apartment he was robbing in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Drug offense: A Lake Milton man was issued a summons and faces multiple charges, for possession of oxycodone, drug paraphernalia, Valium, Xanax and suspected marijuana on Mahoning Avenue at state Route 11.

Theft: A wallet was taken at Quaker State, 5800 Interstate Boulevard.

Disturbance: A large fight was reported at Cosmo’s, 1722 S. Raccoon Road.

Sept. 13

Receiving stolen property: A 17-year-old male was arrested for receiving stolen property and released to his parents at a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Drug offense: Two females and two males were arrested, and the following charges were made: A Struthers woman was charged with possession of marijuana and a pill bottle containing marijuana, considered drug paraphernalia; an Austintown man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe; and a second Austintown man was charged with possession of marijuana and a pill bottle. A Youngstown woman was also charged with possession of Vicodin at Oakwood Avenue and Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A passenger window was damaged on a vehicle at Best Western, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A laptop and an iPod were stolen from a vehicle at Best Western, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Breaking and entering: An undetermined amount of copper pipe was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Fraud: A victim’s Social Security number was used to obtain cell phone service at a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

Drug offense: A man was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, drug paraphernalia and marijuana at Mahoning Avenue and state Route 46.

Theft: A male suspect was arrested for theft and resisting arrest at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Damage was done to a windshield at Regal Cinemas, 6220 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched on the side at Wal-Mart.

Sept. 14

Theft: A total of $140 in diesel fuel was stolen at the BP gas station, 890 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Assault: A woman was arrested for hitting a man with a beer bottle at The Gatsby Restaurant, 54 Westchester Drive.

Criminal damaging: Siding was cracked on a home in the 200 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Theft: A total of $77.91 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal trespassing: A woman was issued a summons for trespassing at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: Juveniles were arrested for theft at Wal-Mart.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Oakcrest Avenue at Willowcrest Drive.

Theft: A metal patio table was stolen from a home in the 400 block of Aspen Drive.

Assault: A 26-year-old man was assaulted at Billy’s Bar, 40 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: Prescription medications were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.

Theft: A cell phone was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 3000 block of Sandlewood Drive.

Menacing: A male is a suspect in menacing at an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
