Fundraiser is planned for transplant patient

WARREN — A pasta dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at North Mar Church, 3855 E. Market St., is planned as a fundraiser for city resident Jay Menhennet, 43, who is in need of a second kidney transplant.

Medications alone can range from $2,000 to $5,000 per month. The National Foundation for Transplants is helping with this and other fund-raising events, which will help pay for his transplant-related expenses.

Tickets for the dinner cost $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger. Baked goods will be available for additional donations. For tickets or more information, call (330) 638-5662.
