• POLAND — Nicholas J. Olesko, 270 Talsman Drive, Canfield, and his bride, the former Beatrice B. Petzinger, 3975 Via Siena, honeymooned during an Alaskan cruise that followed their June 28 wedding at Poland United Methodist Church, and reception at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman.
The daughter of Dr. Peter and Cynthia DeVito of 3975 Via Siena, and Thomas Petzinger and Paulette Thomas of Pittsburgh, and son of Nick Olesko, Clovermead Ave., and Susan Roebken, Coblentz Drive, exchanged vows during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony officiated by Pastor Daniel Yargo.
The bride wore a vintage-style ivory gown enhanced with scalloped lace and beading.
Champagne gowns with wedgewood blue accents were worn by the honor attendant, Suzanne Olesko, who is the groom’s sister, and bridesmaids Abby Aebischer; Mindy Smith; Rachael Cleland; Becca Olesko, the groom’s sister; and Eva Petzinger and Janis Petzinger, sisters of the bride.
Jay Pietkiewicz served as best man, and groomsmen were Michael Rigelsky, Jeff Hvisdas, Nicholas Blanch, Patrick Mitchell, and the bride’s brothers, Peter DeVito and Robert DeVito.
The bride graduated from Mount Union College with a bachelor’s degree in music education. She is an elementary music teacher with United Local Schools in Hanoverton. The groom, a high school band director with Poland Local Schools, earned a bachelor’s in music education and a master’s in music performance in conducting from Youngstown State University.
