Net consultant to give presentation in Vegas

CANFIELD — Local Internet consultant Gene Bonanno will give a presentation at the Excellence and Innovation Convention sponsored by WSI, a Canadian-based consulting company. The convention will be in Las Vegas from Sept. 15-17.

More than 300 Internet consultants from around the world are expected to attend. Bonanno’s presentation will focus on leveraging Web technologies for the small and medium-sized business market.

Energy Industries official will speak to local group

YOUNGSTOWN — Lawrence Boyd, director of core programs at Energy Industries of Ohio, will speak to the local Third Thursdays at 3 gathering at the Youngstown Business Incubator. The program will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the incubator.

EIO is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing, demonstrating and incubating technologies that improve the competitiveness of Ohio’s industries.

The program is free but reservations are required at (330) 259-7644 or jmsmith@ybi.org. Third Thursdays at 3 is a networking and educational forum that is sponsored by the incubator.
